FOB CANAM has a microfinance program and has initiated three sucessful loan cycles with some women of Barron.  These women would not otherwise been able to expand their businesses due to a lack of financial serives in Barron.

Over a 2 year payback schedule, all three loans have been either paid in full or are current with their pay-back schedule.

The business benefitting from this service are a chicken BBQ place (behind the school), a grocery store (Chula’s) and a handbag manufacturer. FOB CANAM is dedicated to helping start-up cottage industries such as these and will to continue to accept proposals from entrepreneurs.
